Goose Island has been ranked within the top 10 of the Morning Advertisers’ annual Drinks List. This year the list shows where brands have risen, fallen or stayed the same and who the key players are for 2021.
According to research conducted by CGA, sales during the months that pubs were able to trade this year were close to previous years. This shows how pubgoers remained loyal to their locals. Despite rallying consumer support, the on trade’s highest sellers have lost between 30% - 40% of volume and value sales during this challenging year.
There has been a big shift in the craft beer list this year. With £40m in sales, Camden Hells Lager took prime position and is now the UK's on trade’s bestselling craft beer in terms of volume and value terms. Goose Island Midway IPA joined the list for the first time - coming in as the 8th most valuable craft brand.
