Our geo-located Facebook and Instagram campaigns went live August 16th to support the launch of Corona Draught and the re-opening of the on-trade.
Since its launch the social media campaign, free to Corona Draught stockists, has reached over 5.5 million people, helping 580 Corona stockists across 24 different national partners drive footfall.
The campaign runs until the end of the year and we are continuously adding new stockists – meaning your new Corona draught sites can get on board too!
Our sales team recently visited two Corona draught stockists to see how the brand was doing in their bars. Read below some of their comments!
Airedale Heifer, Keighley, West Yorkshire
“The incredible font captures customers the moment they walk through the door, this paired with the eye catching glassware and quality of the liquid has driven Corona Draught’s success. Unsurprisingly, the premium price point has never been questioned” – Rachel, Owner
Board and Elbow, Penrith, Cumbria
‘’Customers love the brand as it’s seen as a higher class lager, the signature font stands out from the rest of the bar and everyone wants a picture with their pint of Corona with lime!’’ Gary, Owner

During the COVID-19 lockdown, Beer Hawk, the Uk’s leading online beer retailer and part of AB InBev’s ZX Ventures, raised funds for Hospitality Action, a charity giving cash grants to pub and bar employees facing financial hardship.
The campaign went live within 48 hours of lockdown being announced, and in the space of three months raised over £102,000 for hospitality staff struggling to make ends meet.
You can read more about the scheme here.
In addition, Beer Hawk are currently working with German comedian Henning Wehn to promote this year's cancelled Oktoberfest. Check out the campaign video here.
Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I, a proud part of AB InBev, today announces it has achieved its goal of sourcing 100% of the barley used for its UK-produced beers from British farms. The milestone, which has been reached ahead of schedule*, eliminates the need to import barley and therefore reduces carbon emissions, and champions British agriculture.
Improving agricultural practices and reducing carbon emissions, are key aims of the brewer’s ambitious 2025 Sustainability Goals. Budweiser Brewing Group has worked with its partners to support the production of enough barley for some of the UK’s most popular beers, including Budweiser, Stella Artois and Corona, brewed at its two breweries in Magor in South Wales and Samlesbury in Lancashire.
Paula Lindenberg, President, Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I, commented, “We set ourselves the ambitious goal to source 100% of our barley in Britain. Today, we’re so proud to announce that we’ve reached this goal despite the uncertainties of Covid-19. Local communities are the lifeblood of this country, so we’re absolutely committed to supporting them, creating more efficient supply chains, and brewing the UK’s most sustainable beers.”
