Budweiser, the official sponsor of the English Premier League, has launched a digital “Scan to Win’’ competition to get our football fans engaged. The mechanic is simple: consumer buys a Bud, visits budweiserpl.com and takes a photo of their can, bottle or pint to enter the competition. 

There are 1000’s of prizes up for grabs, including: PerfectDraft machines and signed club shirts. Mohamed Salah isn’t the only one off to a flying start this Premier League season, our Budweiser Scan to Win promotion has already reached over 40,000 entries and just under 700 winners.

Insights Headlines (CGA Market Recovery Monitor August 2020)

• 60% of consumers who ate out for the first time since restrictions were lifted, using the EOTHO scheme, said the experience made them feel more confident about going out. Only 2% said it made them feel less confident.
• 84% of consumers said the Eat Out To Help Out scheme would encourage them to visit a new restaurant.
• 23% of consumers who previously ate out at least weekly are either furloughed, on reduced pay/hour, or have been made redundant.
• 1 in 3 of those now working from home said they are visiting food and drink venues local to where they live more frequently than they did pre-lockdown.

Budweiser is Back with its Premier League Campaign

The Budweiser Premier League campaign launched on Monday 7th September with a huge above the line presence to coincide with the start of the new season. Budweiser will be live on TV, VOD and social reaching a broad audience with a product quality message: Brewed longer for a smooth taste. The campaign will run from September through to December reaching 89% of the target audience an average of 7.9 times.
